Antique Markets Xian

Antique & birds, flower Street
Introduction: Lingdong antique street is the former Lingdong Market; it is a market that occupied the whole long street. Early in the 6 or 7 years ago, because of the deferer of the whole market, some peddleries left here. Afterwards, more and more packmen join them to strength the overall force bit by bit. At present, even the underground dewelling houses have also become booths.

Shu Yuan MenThe Arts Street
Location: Under the City Wall behind the Forest of Steles in Xian
Introduction: An ancient-styled street that both sides of the slab stone road are lined with buildings in the Ming and Qing styles. Various crafts and arts are sold on this crowded street all year long. Historical relics, calligraphy, paintings, antiques, jewels, and folk art fine works are all tourist favorites.

Location: Intersection of Zhuque Road & Southern 2nd Ring Road near the Small Wild Goose Pagoda
Introduction: Things of different sizes are available here, from large furniture to small coins, every possible antique known to collectors. Be careful of replicas.

Wenbaozhai Tour Shopping Center
Location: No.5 Yanta Lu Zhongduan
Introduction: It is one of the earliest settled tour shops for foreign travelers in the Northwest China. What’s more, as an important window opening Xian to the outside world, the center has gained the unanimous praise of Chinese and foreign guests. Silk rugs, woolen blankets, silk clothing, jewels, jade articles, calligraphy, paintings, historical relics, antiques, model clay figures of warriors and horses, and bronze cars and horses - altogether 35 categories and more than 200 kinds of goods selling here.

Peasant Painting Gallery
Location: In the east outskirts of Xian City
Introduction: The most famous gallery of Shaanxi folk crafts. Having been visited by many tourists both from home and abroad, the gallery exhibits a great deal of Peasant Painting as well as other folk crafts such as paper-cutting and shadow puppet. Professional craftsman in the gallery even can teach visitors to paint or cut personally.
